Making Retail Investing Easier to Navigate
Investing has never been more accessible — or more fragmented. A single retail investor might now be weighing digital currency alongside index funds, comparing a robo-advisor to self-directed trading, or deciding between a rental property and a REIT, all while navigating different tax wrappers and regulators depending on where they live. Much of the content available online is written to promote a platform rather than to inform a decision.
Little Money Matters exists to close that gap.
What We Set Out to Do
Our mission is to give retail investors in the US and UK — and, where relevant, Canada and Australia — the clear, accurate, and practically useful information they need to compare investing options and act with confidence, across digital currency, equity investing, property investment, impact investing, automated investing, and P2P lending.
We commit to:
- Clarity over jargon. Financial and regulatory language is translated into plain, usable guidance.
- Specificity over generality. We address real investor scenarios and comparisons, with worked numbers, not abstract overviews.
- Accuracy over speed. Figures and claims are verified against credible sources before publication.
- Independence over promotion. Our content is not shaped by platforms, advertisers, or affiliate incentives.
- Balance over hype. Every asset class and strategy is presented with its risks alongside its opportunities.
Why This Matters
An investor who understands fee drag, tax efficiency, and regulatory protection is better positioned to build a portfolio that actually serves their goals — rather than chasing returns or absorbing costs they never noticed. That is the outcome we write toward with every article we publish.
